I’m a mom to my wonderful son, Atticus, and the proud owner of two rescue cats, Pumpkin and Spice. They keep me grounded and remind me that life is all about balance – whether it’s taking time for a cuddle session or tackling a new coding project. Speaking of which, Pumpkin is actually the inspiration behind my website cursor, a little personal touch I love having on my site!

My Journey into Coding
Coding has always fascinated me, especially from a gamer’s perspective. I’ve always been intrigued by the way things work behind the scenes – how video games, websites, and apps come together to create something engaging. But it wasn’t until I started learning web development that I realized this could be a creative outlet for me, where I could bring my ideas to life while mastering the technical side of things. Web development gave me the perfect balance of creativity and code.

Why Web Development and Cybersecurity?
When I first started coding, web development felt like the natural choice, allowing me to combine my love for creativity with my interest in tech. But a few months into my learning, I was introduced to cybersecurity – and it piqued my curiosity in a way I didn’t expect. The idea of understanding how hackers think, and using that knowledge to protect myself, my son, and others, really resonated with me. Cybersecurity offers a way to create safe, trustworthy digital spaces, and I’m passionate about protecting data in a world that’s becoming increasingly reliant on technology.
